My name is Emmy Johnson, a mother of two and a dedicated educator with over a decade of tutoring experience.

As the founder of Emmy Johnson Tutoring, ​my teaching philosophy emphasizes teaching critical thinking and creative problem-solving over rote memorization, with the aim to empower students not just to succeed in school, but to become confident, capable learners for life!
We do this by providing both subject-specific support, as well as private and group coaching in executive functioning and organizational skills.
